Frances Oman offers convincing evidence that anything is possible. She began documenting the miracles associated with the emergence of The World Teacher three decades ago. Inspiring audiences with seeing miraculous possibilities in the world, and speaking from her own first-hand experience of miracles she gives practical pointers for “do-it-yourself miracles.”

Frances Oman (formerly Robinson) Bio

An artist, political activist and award-winning documentary producer from California, Frances Oman has been recording miraculous events and controversial personalities for two decades. She came to this from a background in both journalism and art. With a journalism scholarship to college from the Press and Union League Club, Frances earned her BA and then went on to get her MA in art from the University of California.

She had many exhibitions of her paintings and then expanded to video in the 70s, training at Video Free America in San Francisco. She soon won First Prize at the San Francisco Video Festival, and showed her productions in various international film festivals, winning many awards.

Always “coloring outside the box,” Oman began documenting “miraculous” events with the eye of an artist and as a journalist. “Overcoming AIDS,” documents the inexplicable sudden reversal to health in a man on the point of dying with AIDS. He is now perfectly healthy and leading a normal life. She also produced shows on cutting edge thinkers from Ron Dellums, African American politician to Peter Caddy, founder of Findhorn.

It was for “Crosses of Light,” that Oman won many awards, nationally and internationally. In 1988 glowing crosses of light began appearing in windows and allegedly producing ‘miracle' cures in those who saw them. Many said that these ‘miracles' were a sign that a great spiritual transformation was about to occur in the world leading to an entirely new political reality.

In her documentary work she discovered artist and futurist, Benjamin Creme in London . She thoroughly investigated what he had to say about the future, and in particular about the World Teacher, Maitreya, who Creme says is working quietly amongst the poor teaching and doing miraculous healing work and who is about to go public bringing inspiration to the whole world. Oman produced several documentaries on this subject as well.

Her work has appeared on PBS, the Discovery Channel and her paintings in galleries across the country including the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. She has published numerous articles on miracles and two books that address her two passions, color and the miraculous:

Over the years she has been interviewed on various radio and TV shows. Frances Oman lives and teaches in California .

Wherever she is currently having an Art Exhibition she speaks twice a month to the public about “Coloring Outside The Box of your usual time and productivity limitations.”
